I got made redundant yesterday. As of today I no longer have any source of income.
It wouldn’t be that difficult to find a new full-time job as a software engineer. However, I am resisting the pull, and hoping dearly to find a way to spend more time making games. Making games is what I want to do.
Part of this plan will be to move down to Cambridge over the next couple of weeks to shack up with the very kind dock while finding my feet, with the intention of finding a source of income that allows me to spend more time working on the games that I want to make.
All this having been said, you will notice that I have added a ‘donate’ button to the top of each page, and a link to this post on my front-page.
I do not have much in the way of savings, so every donation counts. If you cannot use paypal, send me a mail at analytic@gmail.com and we can work out another form of payment. If you wish to donate a large amount, there might be a more efficient way to transfer it, so get in touch there as well.
If you have any other suggestions as to ways I might make money (without compromising my work), I would be interested in hearing from you.
And : thanks

Thanks to Terry, Ian Snyder, Brog, Rinkuhero for comments/suggestions.
If you are experiencing some control lag/strangeness, then I recommend you try running the standalone version from your system in fullscreen mode.
Edit: changed one of the puzzles – Perrin and Draknek alerted me to the fact that there was some very misleading stuff going on with one of the rooms. The change makes one of the puzzles worse, but overall will work out okay I hope : /
Edit: There were some collision bugs reported as well with people getting stuck in walls – that should also be fixed now.
Edit: some more physics bugs fixed with pushing stuff around.
