I am no vegetarian, and still I can see how life sentenced to destroy other life to keep being is the underlying tragedy of… life.

All comes from that.
What has happened in Syria; what happened today in Turkey.
All.

There would be no will to power, if it wasn’t for the primal necessity imposed on life to suppress other life.

I don’t kill any living being that I can avoid killing, and I mourn all the meaningless, aimless ache of life.

This is my version of what’s said near the end of the chapter #15 of The Bonfire of the Vanities, Mr. Lavelle.
