So an airplane crashes on the border of
Mexico and the U.S…
It seems like with half of your games, I play for a minute and then download the source code.
Neat idea, but cheap once you get over the surprise.
The grass is always greener on the other side… sorry, that was inappropriate. Paul seems to be like the “minute men”, which is just like, crossing the border-line fence, man.
you wound’nt have dared to do that, would you ?
grabbed myself a blue motherfucker and booked it westward
I bury a few guys, do some exploring, see some interesting ruins and patterns. Is there something I’m missing? I find the occasional black or pink corpse, but I’m usually carrying someone else by the time I find them (and backtracking is quite a challenge).
The black tiles where you can bury folks are hard to see on my monitor. Too low a contrast.
So what’s the surprise, Paul. Ruin it for me, i can’t figure it out.
I fail too. What’s the hoax?
there isn’t one
A compelling remake of Atari’s _ET_.
From what I gather from the source, you have to bury all those bodies. Or hack the game with Cheat Engine (4bytes*1) to see a screen with You win! written in it.
What I got out of it was the horror of war and particularly when a city is firebombed or decimated in some way that leaves millions of corpses littering the entire landscape. The medium of a videogame places you within that situation and forces you to experience the helplessness one would feel if you were ever faced with such a task. You see the dots as people, and every person buried makes everything feel so much worse, because there are 16,999,995 bodies left. Lying in the sun. Rotting with every passing second.
I ran off into the distance after the fifth or sixth body. I couldn’t continue.
Just googled what particular instance might have produced 17 million bodies.
A little unsure as to your message. The title implies reference to denial, but I’m uncertain what your stance is supposed to be. On the one hand, the underlying message could be ‘Where could you possibly bury 17 million bodies? It’s impossible.’
Or it could be ’17 million bodies don’t just go away, and will not be denied.’
Cryptic.
Incredibly chilling.
