(no subject)

I’m quite happy with myself. I have, over the past three days, upon coming across something that I didn’t know or thought I knew but wouldn’t usually be bothered to ask someone and
verify (the classic example being how to spell Connecticut). But, on the four occasions that I have been conscious of such questions, I ENQUIRED WITH PEOPLE WHO KNOW THINGS TO FIND THE TRUTH! This included
verifying rumours about room-allocation practices on campus (unlikely to get accomodated two years in a row apparantly :( ), finding out what the hoop on my keyring was for, asking for details on
Haughton’s derivation of the optimal rope length for hanging, asking the people at Pilot what the function of the ribbed bit at the top of their pens if for* (capillary action).
And everyone replied and answered my questions! And I am filled with joy of knowing I did something most people couldn’t be bothered to do!!!! :D :D :D :D

* ok really I did this a few weeks ago, but it’s in the same spirit.

I hope to ask many more such questions in the future!

My breath smells I think…weird…I think the student special today was well dodge…
