Scraping the bottom of the pot

Ok, I’m really bad with money around ‘zam time. And I end up using whatever stores of food I have. Consequently, I’ve been living on eggs and frozen battered cod + couscous for the past several days.

And so today I ran out of battered cod. And I was hungry hungry hungry. *But* I came across, TO MY COMPLETE SURPRISE AND DELIGHT, a thing of poncy tomatoey pasta in the fridge that I had got in dunnes.

Ended up having this pasta w/ sardines (tinned, but washed free of the evil tomato sauce), coriander pesto, mango chutney, and AN EGG (all fried together to make the sardines taste less).

The weird thing is it didn’t taste bad…though I did feel a little…odd…afterwards…down in my belly.
